31 year-old Stephen Farrelly is best known as Sheamus O'Shaunessy in the World Wrestling Federation, in which he is contracted with.

Farrelly was born in Cabra, Dublin, but was raised in North Great George's Street, Dublin. He speaks fluent Irish having attended Scoil Caoimhin Primary and Secondary School, a Gaelscoil.

He played Gaelic football for the Erin's Isle team, and also played rugby for the National College of Ireland. Farrelly is a former IT technician and once was a personal security guard for Bono from U2, and also for Denise van Outen.

In June 30 of 2009 episode of ECW, Farrelly made his debut as a villain under the ring name Sheamus, calling himself The Celtic Warrior and defeating a local competitor.

He played the role of "Two Ton" in
The Escapist (2008), he had a small role in
3 Crosses (2006), and was a Celtic Warrior Zombie in the opening sequence of the
Assault of Darkness (2009).

He will be 32 in January.
